An orchard of old English apple trees, run by villagers who sell organic juice to fund the upkeep of the orchard, which is also used by local schools.
Donated to the parish by Vera, we have made the orchard into a community orchard, benefitting the whole community in the Hanleys and apple juice lovers everywhere. Villagers so liked the concept of the orchard that they have also been donating their spare apples to make another juice from the 'little orchards' of the Hanleys so we also offer a sister juice. We sell the juice locally and at the Three Counties Show. Â All profits from both juices go to the upkeep of the orchard.
The orchard is open to the public and has a picnic bench. Â It can be found along the footpath that runs alongside Pyndar Lodge in Roberts End.
